Industrial Transmitter

Housed in a rugged industrial chassis, the COBALT Industrial Series is designed for demanding environments in an ultra-compact form factor that can be mounted in a variety of ways.
Available in 10W, 30W, 50W and 100W output power versions, every COBALT Industrial transmitter delivers the same exceptional audio quality and sound clarity found across the entire COBALT family. This is achieved through Aqua Broadcast's Direct-to-Channel Digital Synthesis (DDS) technology and a low-distortion digital modulator running on a fully customised Linux operating system.
Standard interfaces include Analog, AES/EBU, Digital MPX (AES192), Ethernet, USB, GPIO, GPS Synchronisation with built-in Single Frequency Network (SFN) capability, and an integrated ITU-R BS.412.9 limiter.
The Industrial Series eliminates front-panel controls and display, with all configuration, monitoring and control handled through its intuitive web interface over either LAN or Wi-Fi, providing complete remote access from anywhere.
A standard +48 V DC input allows the transmitter to operate directly from telecom or renewable power systems, making it ideal for off-grid, backup power and other industrial applications.
Outstanding on-air performance comes as standard thanks to the built-in 4-band audio processor, featuring Bass Enhancement, Wide AGC, Pilot Protection and a comprehensive collection of professionally designed presets, ensuring excellent sound quality straight out of the box.
The advanced communications platform, featuring a secure HTTPS web interface, provides complete remote monitoring and control over Ethernet. Full SNMP (v1/v2c/v3) support, email notifications, alarm reporting and remote audio monitoring give operators complete confidence that every transmitter can be monitored and managed from anywhere in the world using any web browser.
The integrated Audio Monitoring function allows confidence monitoring directly from any web-enabled device. Users can listen remotely to analogue, AES/EBU, processed audio, test tones, or optional sources such as the built-in tuner or MicroMPX, making it easy to verify STL feeds, mixer outputs and on-air audio without visiting the transmitter site.
Easy access to internal components together with software-controlled variable fan speed helps minimise maintenance requirements while improving long-term reliability.
With outstanding AC efficiency, compact dimensions and reduced weight, the COBALT Industrial Series offers low transportation costs and one of the lowest total costs of ownership in its class. It is an ideal solution for professional FM broadcasting where reliability, audio quality and remote management are essential.
